When did you last surprise yourself with courage?
6 Simple ways to Practice Mindfulness every day (Even when life is busy) (Link at the end)

Read time: 5 minutes
🌞Hey’all - Good morning!
Courage is often misunderstood.
We imagine it as something dramatic.
Standing on a stage.
Starting a business.
Leaving a difficult situation.
Taking a huge risk.
But some of the most important acts of courage are almost invisible.
Starting a conversation you've been avoiding.
Trying something you're not naturally good at.
Admitting you don't know something.
Giving someone a genuine compliment.
Walking into a room where you don't know anyone.
Saying, "I'd like to try."
Nobody applauds these moments.
But something inside you changes every time you do one.
Pause for a moment.
Take a slow breath in through your nose...
Hold it gently...
And release it softly through your mouth.
Again.
You don't have to become fearless.
You simply have to become a little more willing to step beyond what feels familiar.
Spiritual Reminder
A butterfly doesn't know what waits outside the cocoon.
It simply keeps moving toward the opening.
Growth always asks us to leave something familiar behind.
Not because the familiar is bad...
But because there is more of life waiting beyond it.
Today’s Ritual
Courage is a skill you can practice…
We often wait to feel brave before taking action.
But courage usually works in reverse.
You act...
Then discover you were capable of handling it.
One small courageous action becomes evidence.
Another creates more evidence.
Eventually, your comfort zone quietly expands.
You don't become courageous overnight.
You collect courageous moments.
3 Micro-courage Techniques
● The "Brave 30 seconds"
Choose one tiny action that feels slightly uncomfortable.
Not frightening.
Just uncomfortable.
Examples:
• Introduce yourself to someone new.
• Share an idea in a meeting.
• Compliment someone sincerely.
• Ask for something you genuinely need.
• Try an activity you've never attempted.
Give yourself 30 seconds to begin.
Don't think about the entire experience.
Just cross the first few inches of the bridge.
● The "Do something badly" Challenge
Choose something you've always wanted to try...
And give yourself permission to be terrible at it.
Draw.
Dance.
Sing.
Cook something new.
Speak a few words of another language.
Take photographs.
The goal isn't achievement.
The goal is becoming comfortable with being a beginner.
That's a surprisingly powerful form of freedom.
● The "Courage collection"
Keep a note on your phone called:
Things I Was Brave Enough to Try
Every time you do something slightly outside your comfort zone, add it.
It could be tiny:
"I spoke up."
"I tried something new."
"I introduced myself."
"I asked for help."
"I said what I really thought."
After a month, read the list.
You'll have something more valuable than motivation.
You'll have evidence of your own courage.
Today's Motivation
B.R.A.V.E
B: Begin before you're completely ready
R: Risk being imperfect
A: Allow yourself to be a beginner
V: Value small acts of courage
E: Expand your world gradually
Courage doesn't always roar.
Sometimes...
It simply says: "I'll try."
Affirmation for the Day
"I am willing to step beyond what is familiar.
I don't need to feel fearless.
I only need enough courage to take the next small step."
Today's Courage Challenge
Choose one thing you've never done because it felt slightly outside your comfort zone.
Not something dangerous.
Just something new.
Give yourself 30 seconds to begin.
Then add it to your Courage Collection.
At the end of the day, look at what you wrote.
You may realize something beautiful:
The person you thought you needed to become...
Was already there.
And if someone you know has been saying "I'm not brave enough" lately...
Send this to them.
Remind them:
One small brave action is enough to begin.
