The 5-4-3-2-1 Glow Reset: Thursday
Need a moment of calm amidst the Thursday buzz? This gentle sensory ritual is your quick, under-three-minute reset to anchor your thoughts, sharpen your focus, and return to joyful presence.
🌬️ Grounding breath (30 sec):
Sit or stand still. Inhale slowly for 4 counts, exhale for 6. Feel your feet or seat fully connected to the earth - steady, supported, and safe.
👀 Five sights (30 sec):
Take in your surroundings and name five things you can see: perhaps a leafy plant, your mug, a favorite pen, a pattern on your wall, or a glimmer of light.
🤲 Four touches (30 sec):
Reach out and explore four different textures maybe the grain of your desk, softness of your shirt, coolness of your glass, or the gentle warmth in the air.
🎧 Three sounds (30 sec):
Close your eyes. Tune in. Hear the quiet hum of electronics, a bird’s distant song, or leaves rustling in the breeze.
👃 Two scents (30 sec):
Take a deep breath - notice your tea, a nearby candle, or even the crisp scent of open air.
👅 One taste (30 sec):
Sip something soothing and truly taste it - sweet, minty, citrusy?
🧘🏻♀️Victory breath (10 sec):
Inhale clarity, exhale any lingering tension. Whisper softly: “I glow with presence and joy.”

Write a word that inspires you like “Glow,” “Breathe,” or “Joy” on a Post-It. Place it somewhere visible to spark instant uplift every time you pass by.
