Ah, Sunday. That tender in-between space where rest meets the creeping buzz of “What’s next?” From upcoming deadlines to swirling schedules, it’s easy to feel the Sunday Scaries tiptoe in.
On Day 4 of our Micro-EFT Energize & Calm journey, we’re softening into the moment by gently adapting our ritual to meet this energy. Today’s practice is all about slowing down the mental spin, releasing the pressure of the week ahead, and inviting in a sense of quiet steadiness.
With just a few mindful taps, a calming affirmation, and your breath, you’ll create space for peace to settle and for calm clarity to rise. Let’s make your Sunday a soft landing, not a launchpad.
Ritual of the Week
Micro-EFT Sunday Scaries Soother: Sunday
(EFT = Emotional Freedom Techniques)
Sundays can be sneaky. Just when you try to relax, that whisper of “What’s next?” creeps in. Today’s Micro-EFT Ritual is your soft shield, a simple tapping practice to soothe those Sunday Scaries and create space for peace.
❤️ Heart-Center Pause (30 sec): Place one hand over your heart. Inhale for 4 counts, exhale for 6. Set your intention: “I release worries and welcome calm.”
🤲 Karate-Chop Prep (30 sec): With your other hand, gently tap the outer edge of your palm 5 times while repeating your intention quietly. Feel the edge soften.
✋ Tapping Sequence (2 min): Tap each point 5–7 times, pairing each with a calming word:
🔄 Eyebrow (EB): “Ease”
🌟 Side of Eye (SE): “Soften”
💧 Under Eye (UE): “Unwind”
💨 Under Nose (UN): “Comfort”
♻️ Chin (CH): “Ground”
🔋 Collarbone (CB): “Balance”
⚡ Crown (CR): “Peace”
🌀 Reset Breath (30 sec): Cup your hands over your belly. Inhale for 4, exhale for 6. Let tension melt from your body.
😊🔒🌈 Smile & Seal (15 sec): Flash a gentle smile and whisper again: “I release worries and welcome calm.”

5 Spark Taps for Calm
When Sunday brings that quiet tension looming tasks, unfinished plans, or the “Monday buzz”, reach for one of these Spark Taps for Calm. Just 30 seconds, one gentle word, and a touch of presence can shift everything.
🔄EB “Ease” (30 sec): Tap the start of your eyebrow 5 times, inviting gentle ease into your mind and breath.
❄️SE “Soften” (30 sec): Tap the side of your eye 5 times, gently melting away tight thoughts or tension.
🔋UE “Unwind” (30 sec): Tap beneath your eye 5 times, letting the last bits of stress slowly unravel.
🧘♀️CB “Balance” (30 sec): Tap just below your collarbone 5 times, anchoring yourself in calm, present energy.
🌞CR “Peace” (30 sec): Tap the crown of your head 5 times, letting a spacious sense of inner peace wash through you.
